Jutsus - How does it work?

Post  Zetsumei Seikirai on Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:30 pm

Alright Let's go back and review.

There are 3 Kinds of Jutsus:
- Taijutsu : The Physical, hand to hand style combat that is strengthened by chakra.
- Genjutsu : Illusionary techniques
- Ninjutsu : referring to almost any technique that uses chakra and allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing

There are 7 Ranks of Jutsu Strengths:
S-rank: Secret: extreme level jutsu
A-rank: Kinjutsu: ultra high level jutsu
B-rank: Jounin level jutsu
C-rank: Chuunin level jutsu
D-rank: Genin level jutsu
E-rank:Academy student level jutsu
No rank: Jutsu relying on the unique abilities of the users (bloodline Limits) can be extremely powerful of fairly weak.

How it works Here

Each Jutsu is worth a certian number of points, depending on its difficulty. Now these points can only be obtained through accomplishing missions or training at the dojo. Each character starts out with a certain number of points once they graduate from the academy depending upon their accomplishments and the grade on their final exam.

After this characters are required to train in their dojo for no less than once a week and no more than five times a week at the dojo. these training sessions must be at least 300 words. Each village elder or admin depending on the situation, will evaluate these training sessions and appoint a reasonable number of points appropriate for each. (the point idea well get a specific system soon)

If a character wants to apply for a certain jutsu, you just contact you council elder who will discuss it with the admin. Depending upon your points we will accept or deny you. If you are accpeted then you will put the new jutsu ontp your profile generated character sheet, in one of the slots. Once you start getting the ability to preform higher ranked jutsus, you may eliminate some of the lesser ones from your sheet still maintaining the ability to preform them.

Your character
With your character you must decide his or her speciality. Is she/he a nin, tai, or genjutsu user. You can use more then one or all three for that matter, but it leads to a less specialized and thus at times weaker player. Keep this in mind when you are developing your character. What does your character do extremely well, if you have a bloodline limit consider what kind of jutsu is going to compliment your abilities the best.
